We have some big ideas for the Genoa City Public Library in the upcoming year. But we can't do it without a lot of help from the community. We are looking for volunteers to help with various projects that the GCPL would like to get off the ground. Some examples of things that we have talked about include:
Building a parade float to advertise the Genoa City Public Library in local 4th of July and Winter Holiday Parades.
Moving books and setting up for the Annual Book Sale.
Assist with Children's Programs that need more supervision than the GCPL has staff.
A GCPL information booth at the County Fair.
Volunteers to make quilts and other crafts to donate for a silent auction fundraising event for a new library.
Participate in a "Human Library" project for local students.
These are just a few ideas that have been bounced around in the GCPL office. We can use all of the help we can get.
